Scholarships

The MACILE-DR scholarship program offers financial assistance to talented young people from less advantaged families in the Itabo-Nigua (Ytabo) region who have demonstrated desire for academic excellence opportunities to complete their high school education and pursue post-secondary education in the fields of learning promoted by MACILE. The goals are increase access to better education for talented students from poor families, advance academic excellence and competitiveness, and help young people from less privileged backgrounds to continue in school.

MACILE offers two types of pre-college scholarships:

  1. Scholarships for Loyola Technical High School
  2. Support Scholarships for talented and needed 7–12 graders who are unable to attend Loyola.

These scholarships are strictly merit-based and are opened to students who have participated in the MACILE summer program.

College scholarships are also merit-based, and their mission supports young people pursuing studies and careers in mathematics, science, engineering and technology, and languages.
